I took an IAT test today.
The IAT test is an implicit association test developed by Professor Anthony of the University of Washington and Professor Mazarin of Harvard University, which helps you identify your biases and stereotypes.
The IAT test had various categories, including gender, skin color, gender directivity, age, race, and country,
I chose the 'Country' version and tested it.
I put my finger in the 'e' and 'i' positions on the keyboard and chose whether it was positive or negative by looking at the image or text. For the first time, I was curious how this test examines my prejudice. It just seemed like a quickness test.
After finishing the test, I was not biased between Korea and the United States.
I was actually a little surprised by the test results. I usually enjoy listening to K-pop songs more than pop songs, and I like Korean romance dramas more than American dramas, so I thought I would definitely like Korea more.
